  1. From release 1.9 OEA allows you to export the date as "Real Date."
  2. This feature makes it possible to sort and perform a search in FM Pro archives.

  4. To change the "date" in your existing data in FileMaker Pro
  5. (created with versions of OEA before 1.9) follow these steps:

  7. 1) Make a backup copy of your OEA Email Database (FM Pro Archive)
  8. 2) Open the copy of your database in FileMaker Pro.
  9. 3) Create a new field called "Real Date" (Kind: Date)
  10.  
  11. 4) Launch the application (date Conversion)
  12.    At this point you must indicate if the date must be calculated in USA format
  13.    (mm-dd-yyyy) or in European format (dd-mm-yyyy), in keeping with the
  14.    settings of your MacOS.
  15.    The process will start.

  17. 5) Wait for the end of the process.
  18. 6) Delete the field "Date" and change the name of the field "Real Date" to "Date"
